Olofi is to be aimed at the Ladbroke at Ascot on December 22 following his victory in the Racing Post Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Trainer Tom George reports the six-year-old to have taken those exertions in his stride and is looking forward to saddling him in the valuable handicap hurdle at the Berkshire track just before Christmas.
"He's come out of it very well. He only lost three kilos, which is obviously a good sign. It didn't take an enormous amount out of him," said the Slad handler.
"He seems to have physically matured. He looks bigger and stronger and has held his condition, which is good.
"We are more than likely going to aim him for the big hurdle at Ascot next month.
"He enjoys soft ground and he should get it there.
"We'll play it by ear after that."
