Ruby ready to rock CheltenhamHeadlines
Rock On Ruby

Harry Fry has confirmed Rock On Ruby on course for the StanJames.com International Hurdle after missing the Fighting Fifth Hurdle due to the testing ground.

The Dorset trainer believes it was the right decision to bypass the Newcastle race with last season's Champion Hurdle hero and instead wait for Cheltenham on Saturday week.

"Cheltenham a week on Saturday is very much the plan," Fry told At The Races.

"It's a shame we couldn't run in the Fighting Fifth but we were more than happy with the decision we made and look forward to Cheltenham.

"It will be a better race, but he's in great order and we'll take them all on.

"Countrywide Flame did it well at Newcastle and obviously had the fitness having run on the Flat.

"He won impressively, that's the only word for it."
