Style has Power targetHeadlines
Eddie Harty

Like Your Style is likely to go for the Paddy Power Handicap Chase at Leopardstown on December 27 following his fine effort at Navan.

The eight-year-old, owned by JP McManus, could try for handsome compensation after finishing a close second to Tofino Bay in the Troytown Handicap Chase.

"He's come out of it well. He ran a good race the other day. He was beaten half a length but never mind, it was a good run," said trainer Eddie Harty.

"He'll probably go for the Paddy Power Chase over Christmas. It's the next step."

Among the 62 entries is last year's winner Cross Appeal. However, the Noel Meade-trained six-year-old has yet to hit form so far this term and has been pulled up in his last two starts.

Nicky Henderson has put in Prince Of Pirates and Nadiya De La Vega, while other possibles include Munster National and Cork National winner Raz De Maree and Byrne Group Plate third Glam Gerry.
