Simonsig gets Ascot Friday entryHeadlines
Simonsig

Simonsig and Overturn have both been entered in the Betfred Novices' Chase at Ascot on Friday after the race was reopened.

Nicky Henderson's Simonsig is already ante-post favourite for the Arkle in March, without having jumped a fence in public, due to his impressive form in novice hurdles last season, while Overturn, second in the Champion Hurdle in March, won on his chasing debut at Sandown.

Paul Nicholls has also entered the highly regarded Poungach, a winner at Haydock last time out.

Dare Me, now trained by Venetia Williams, Act Of Kalanisi, Cantlow and Well Regarded are other engaged in what looks like being an informative heat.

Simonsig and Overturn have also been entered in the Blue Square Bet Novices' Chase at Haydock on Saturday.

Ohio Gold, Salden Licht, Stormy Weather and Tap Night are other nice types in that contest.
