Petit Robin remains at the head of the weights at the five-day stage for The Ladbroke at Ascot on Saturday.

The valuable handicap hurdle is usually a target for Nicky Henderson and the Seven Barrows maestro has several high-profile horses still in the mix, with Cash And Go, Lyvius and First In The Queue also entered.

Balder Succes is second on the list for Alan King who won the race 12 months ago with Raya Star but as expected that one has been taken out.

Among the others to miss the race are Darlan, Snap Tie and Dermot Weld's Hisaabaat, who was a strong ante-post fancy.

Olofi could bid for a notable double after winning a competitive heat at Cheltenham while John Ferguson's Cotton Mill, a smart novice last season, is also in the mix.

Gordon Elliott likes nothing better than plotting to win the big handicaps and his representatives at this stage are Cause Of Causes and Discoteca.

Eddie Harty's Princeton Plains is another Irish possible along with the Willie Mullins-trained Rattan.

It's A Gimme, Double Ross, Claret Cloak and Into Wain are others to note.
