Becauseicouldntsee will be given the chance of redemption at Leopardstown on Thursday following a dismal effort at Cheltenham earlier this month.
The Noel Glynn-trained nine-year-old was pulled up in the Majordomo Hospitality Handicap Chase on December 14 after having looked ill at ease from an early stage.
Becauseicouldntsee returned from those exertions unscathed and is now set to compete in the Paddy Power Chase for a third consecutive season.
"We'll be going to the Paddy Power on the 27th," said County Clare-based Glynn.
"He was terrible in Cheltenham - it wasn't his run. I'm not sure what happened as he always goes very well there.
"We got him home and checked him out and he was fine, so we'll look to Leopardstown.
"He was second in the race the year before last and if he could reproduce that form, I'm sure he'd go very well again."
