Champion posers for HendersonHeadlines
Darlan

Nicky Henderson is trying to plot a route to the Champion Hurdle for his three main contenders without them having to come up against each other before March.

Darlan was promoted to favourite for the big race by some bookmakers after his impressive display in the Christmas Hurdle, while Henderson also has former champion Binocular and International Hurdle runner-up Grandouet in his squad.

"I think we learned that Darlan is a lot better than we dared to hope. We'll have to juggle the pack around. Binocular is almost ready to run, he might go to Ireland," said Henderson.

"There's the Contenders Hurdle at Sandown for Grandouet, there's the Kingwell and also the Morebattle at Kelso which we have used before and I wouldn't rule that out for any of them."
