Walsh escapes serious injuryHeadlines
Ruby Walsh

Ruby Walsh reportedly suffered no lasting damage after successive falls at Chepstow forced him to give up the ride on Michel Le Bon in the Coral Welsh National.

A crunching fall from Cedre Bleu in the Coral Mobile Text "Mobile" To 82211 Handicap Chase was followed by another tumble from Roger Beantown in the coral.co.uk Best Price On Horse Racing Handicap Hurdle.

Ryan Mahon stepped in on the Paul Nicholls-trained Michel Le Bon, who was pulled up in the marathon chase won by Monbeg Dude.

Chepstow's clerk of the course Keith Ottesen said: "I've spoken to the doctor and basically Ruby jarred an old injury. It's nothing serious, when I asked for a diagnosis I was told it was just sore."
