Catterick gets all-clearHeadlines
Catterick Racecourse

This afternoon's meeting at Catterick has passed an 8am precautionary inspection and goes ahead as planned.

Although temperatures dipped to minus 3C at around 6am, officials are confident there will be no frost by the time of racing.

Clerk of the course Fiona Needham said: "It didn't start to freeze until very late in the night, so that was good news. Temperatures are set to rise to around 5C this afternoon so there are no problems, happily."

The going is currently soft, good to soft in places.
