Lingfield inspects againHeadlines
Lingfield action

Lingfield's meeting on Tuesday must now pass a 7am inspection on raceday morning.

With snow still an issue at the Surrey venue, another check is required before the meeting can be given the go-ahead.

Clerk of the course Neil MacKenzie Ross assessed conditions at 2pm inspection on Monday, and feels the maintenance work carried out on the track has improved the chances of racing.

MacKenzie Ross said: "Things have improved due to the work being put in and it's looking very encouraging.

"Chances are improving and we'll keep working away.

"We'll update at 7am. We're only forecast a few snow flurries now so hopefully that is nothing to concern us."
