Thursday's jumps meeting at Fakenham has been abandoned due to snow.
Clerk of the course David Hunter inspected the track at noon on Tuesday, but was forced to admit defeat.
He said: "There's been a little movement, but we've still got three inches of snow on the course. The temperature peaked at minus 11C last night, much against the forecast, and we are only about 2C at the moment. We're just not going to get there in time, I'm afraid."
No problems are reported at Gowran on Thursday, where the Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase is the feature event.
"The track is in great nick and there's a good covering of grass on both chase and hurdle tracks," said clerk of the course Paddy Graffin.
"There's no frost in the ground at all now. We are very pleased and everything is A1. I'm sure the ground will ride heavy enough and I think the forecast is reasonably favourable.
"I think it's going to remain cold for the rest of the week, but as things stand we are very happy and things are absolutely spot-on and we are looking forward to Thursday."
