Extra meeting for DonnyHeadlines
Doncaster action

Doncaster will stage an additional fixture on Monday after a seven-race card was given the green light by the British Horseracing Authority.

The Town Moor circuit lost a valuable two-day meeting last Friday and Saturday due to the weather but will at least gain some compensation on Monday with what should be an interesting card, largely due to the inclusion of a Listed hurdle race.

The 32 Red-sponsored two-mile contest could well feature some interesting names following the recent abandonment of a number of meetings.

Saturday's hurdle races at Sandown, including the Listed Contenders Hurdle, are already under threat.

Entries for Doncaster's seven-race card will close at noon on Thursday and declarations to run must be made by 10am on Sunday.
