Sandown have abandoned their scheduled hurdle races on Saturday and will now stage an all-chase card.
Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper inspected the track at 8am but found the hurdles track to be waterlogged.
Three extra chases were provisionally programmed earlier this week and they will now take place instead of the hurdles events, with Cooper reporting no concerns for the chase course.
The Betfred Mobile Sports Contenders Hurdle was due to be one of the highlights on the card, with the likes of leading Champion Hurdle fancy Darlan set to run.
