Pam Sly was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with a suspected broken leg after an incident at Wetherby.
The Classic-winning trainer was preparing Chicklemix to run in the opening Star Sports Cheltenham Preview Evening 4th March Handicap Hurdle when she sustained the injury to her upper leg.
"As I understand it her leg or her hip has given way as she's walked her horse off the horse box, but I don't know the exact details," said clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson.
