Ante-post favourite My Tent Or Yours features among a field of 23 runners declared for the ultra-competitive Betfair Hurdle at Newbury on Saturday.
The JP McManus-owned novice has won twice from three starts over hurdles and will be partnered by Tony McCoy as he makes his handicap debut off a mark of 149.
Trainer Nicky Henderson has a fine record in the extended two-mile contest, having saddled the likes of Landing Light and Geos to victory in recent years, and My Tent Or Yours is one of six runners for the team this time.
The master of Seven Barrows also saddles top-weight Petit Robin, Cash And Go, 2009 Champion Hurdle hero Punjabi, Lyvius and First In The Queue.
Champion trainer Paul Nicholls won the race for the first time with Zarkandar 12 months ago and this year has three representatives in Dark Lover, Pearl Swan and Caid Du Berlais.
David Pipe runs prolific winners Swing Bowler and Home Run, as well as the talented Ronaldo Des Mottes.
Top novice Cotton Mill is a major contender and makes his first start of the season for John Ferguson.
Other interesting participants include Gordon Elliott's Irish challenger Cause Of Causes, Emma Lavelle's Claret Cloak and the Evan Williams-trained Court Minstrel.
