Ayr and Lingfield both inspectHeadlines
Ayr action

Tuesday's meetings at Ayr and Lingfield are both subject to morning inspections.

Officials at Ayr have called a precautionary check at 7.30am due to the threat of sub-zero temperatures overnight.

Clerk of the course Emma Marley tweeted: "Conditions heavy for racing. Precautionary inspection 730am Tues due to possibility of sub-zero temps overnight."

Lingfield's fixture had already been disrupted with a switch to an all-chase and bumper card following the abandonment of the hurdle races due to waterlogging, a problem which now clouds the chase track.

Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross tweeted: "17mm rain & 1/2 inch of snow overnight. Chase course is waterlogged in places. Inspection 8am Tuesday."
